Founded in 1984 and located in Rantoul, Kansas, near Kansas City, we have grown to maintain one of the world’s largest independently owned used airplane parts inventories for turbine, piston-engine, and rotor-wing aircraft. Our roots go back to 1960, when Bob Dodson followed his passion in aviation and purchased an Ercoupe. In the next few years he earned his required pilot certificates and ratings, and operated as a freelance flight instructor. Robert (JR) Dodson grew up at the airport, fueling and cleaning aircraft, and assisting mechanics. After attending Embry-Riddle University for a year with the plan of becoming an airline pilot, he got a taste of deal-making in the aircraft world and never looked back.
From our beginnings in single-engine general aviation, we have expanded to serve corporate, rotor-wing, and commercial aircraft operators. We have decades of experience, not only as a supplier, but as owner, operators, and maintainers of GA and corporate aircraft. We know you need actual parts, not empty promises or slogans. Over the years, we have dismantled more than 4,000 aircraft and processed thousands of surplus inventories, building a comprehensive stock of over 20 million parts, ready to ship. Our inventory includes engines, flight controls, landing gear, avionics, used airplane parts and more, with many items available as serviceable (SV) or overhauled (OH) on an outright or exchange basis.
