About Mark
Posted on March 9th, 2009 No commentsMark began his career in aviation with Dodson International Parts in 1998 after many years in the construction, development and real estate industry. In those businesses, he learned the value of quality personal service which inspires loyalty and repeat business. He has tried to apply those traits to aviation parts sales, especially to the Beechcraft world. He is a member of the American Bonanza Society and greatly appreciates their faith in him by including him on their very short referral list.
Over the years he has teamed with manufacturers to develop after-market products such as the replacement monolithic main gear doors for the Bonanza, Baron and Travel Air. He is always thinking of ways, and consulting with experts to aid the King Air operators of the world. He has also played a role in the development of several affordable replacement items that, in the past, have been very difficult to find and extremely expensive if available.
Though his time in aviation has been short, it has always been a part of his life. His uncle, the late William J. Morrisey, was a pioneer in aviation development first with the military during WWII and afterward in the exploding general aviation market. He designed and build the Morrisey 2000, a hugely popular tandem trainer in the 1950’s (which later became the Shinn 2150). He also played a great role in the development of post-war general aviation airports in California, Arizona and Nevada. Because of his uncle’s accomplishments, he has always known aviation was in his blood.
We know his long list of regular customers appreciate his attention to their aviation needs and he is always willing to help you find any part you need - large or small!
